Excursion schedule:

Brief Itinerary:

Day 1 – Athens – Bali
Departure from Athens / Thessaloniki on Qatar Airways flight via Doha to Denpasar / Bali.

Day 2 – Denpasar – Ubud
Arrival in Denpasar / Bali and transfer to Ubud accommodation hotel. Room Facilities, Dinner & Overnight.

Day 3 –  Ubud (all day excursion Penglipuran, Tirta Empul, Gunung Kawi, coffee plantation, cocoa & vanilla)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a visit to the traditional Balinese village of Panglipuran. Following visits to the temples of Tirta Empul & Gunung Kawi, the latter being carved in rock. We will conclude today’s visit with a visit to a vanilla, coffee and cocoa plantation. Back in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 – : Ubud (free day)
Breakfast at the hotel and free time to explore Ubud. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 –  Ubud (Mengwi Taman Ayun all day excursion, Monkey Forrest, Tanah Lot)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we visit a batik craft (one of the oldest methods of wax dyeing and processing in Indonesia). Heading west we will visit the Temple of Taman Ayun and the temple of Mengi, built in the 17th century for the worship of God and the memory of the king’s soul and dignity. Immediately afterwards we will follow a route to the north of the island which will take us to the royal temples of Batukaru surrounded by forests, at the foot of the homonymous mountains and at an altitude of 2270 meters above the cluster of the four temples «Cigar Oulu Danu», built in honor of the goddess of Danu water, bearing the three sacred shades of worship: Red for the creator Brahma, black for the sustainor of the universe Vishnu, and white for the destroyer Siva. We will continue to the area of Alas Kentaton, the sacred forest of monkeys, as they call it, which is a natural habitat for thousands of monkeys and fruit bats. There we will admire the ancient temple located in the heart of the jungle and then depart for the Tana Lot temple that nests at the top of a rock surrounded by sea. Built in the 16th century by a Hindu priest, at Tana Lot Temple we will experience one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world with the sun sinking into the vast ocean and the temple bathed in the magical colours of twilight. Return to our hotel in Ubud. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 6 –  Ubud (day free)
Breakfast at the hotel and free time to enjoy shopping, massages and city cafés. Evening dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 –  Ubud – Pemuteran (Tamblingan lakes, Buyan and Munduk waterfall)
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the west side of Bali, Pemuteran. On the way we will stop at the twin lakes Tamblingan and Byuan and the Munduk waterfall to enjoy the scenery as our path will be amidst lush rice fields. Arrival Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 –  Pemuteran – Menjangan (snorkeling trip)
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for today’s excursion. Boarding a boat for our transfer to Menjangan Island which is part of the Bali National Park with the best locations for snorkelling and observing corals, seabirds, sea turtles, etc. Return to the hotel and free time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 –  Pemuteran – Brahma Vihara Buddhist Temple
Breakfast at the hotel. Then we will depart for the most famous Buddhist temple of the island, the Brahma Vihara where we will have the unique opportunity to meditate (pending issuance of license by local authorities). Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 –  Pemuteran – Bali
Breakfast at the hotel and free time. Scheduled departure time from hotel for transfer to Denpasar / Bali airport.

Day 11 – : Bali – Athens / Thessaloniki
Boarding the return flight to Athens via Doha. Arrival at noon of the same day.
